Continued Participation

Stay involved.

The Index is anonymous by architecture — but some practitioners want to do more than one survey: follow-up interviews, early access to findings, review of draft instruments. This page is the opt-in for that. If you haven’t yet, the first way to participate is the Index itself — take it here (8–12 minutes).

This sign-up is structurally separate from your survey response. The two live in different data stores with no shared identifiers and no join path. Signing up here cannot connect your name to anything you answered in the Index — the linkage does not exist in the data model.

Data Commitment

What we store, why, and for how long.

What is stored: your email address, your stated interests, the consent version you accepted, and a timestamp. Nothing else. No name, no employer, no survey data.

What it is used for: contacting you about this research program — follow-up interviews and findings releases. Nothing else. It is never sold, shared, or used for marketing.

Separation, by design: contact data lives in its own data store, outside the web root, with no relational link to survey responses. It is excluded from published datasets and from any open-source release of the instrument or site code — code licenses (such as Apache 2.0) apply to code, never to participant data, and the repositories will contain none of it.

Retention and removal: kept only for the duration of the MOMCI research program, then deleted. Removed earlier on request — one email to contact@mainframeresearch.com deletes your record.
